Keep Vague.no welcoming
Vague.no is a place to learn, practise and compete in good faith. These Guidelines apply to usernames, profile photos, challenges and any other content or interaction visible to others.
Not allowed
- Threats, targeted harassment, bullying or encouragement of violence.
- Hateful content attacking people based on protected characteristics.
- Sexual content, sexualised depictions of minors or content that exploits a person.
- Personal information such as addresses, contact details or private images shared without permission.
- Impersonation, deceptive affiliation or usernames intended to confuse other users.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
- Malware, scams, spam or links intended to deceive or compromise another person.
- Cheating, automated play, score manipulation or exploitation of technical vulnerabilities.
- Content or conduct that is otherwise unlawful.
Profile photos and usernames
Use content you have the right to share. Remember that profile photos and usernames may be public. Do not use a real person’s image without permission, and avoid including identifying information about a child. We may remove or rename content that violates these Guidelines or creates a safety, privacy or legal risk.
Fair play
Do not manipulate quiz requests, answers, timers, points, XP, achievements, rankings or challenge results. If you find a vulnerability, do not exploit or publish user data; report it privately to hi@vague.no.
Report something
Report a username, avatar, challenge or safety concern to hi@vague.no. Include the relevant URL, username and a short explanation. Do not send more personal data than necessary. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Copyright or trademark notices should be sent to hi@vague.no and should identify the protected work, the reported material, its location and the basis for the complaint.
How we respond
Depending on context, severity and history, we may remove content, change a username, limit features, issue a warning, suspend an account or close it. Serious or apparently unlawful matters may be preserved and referred to competent authorities where legally required or appropriate.
To ask us to reconsider a decision, contact hi@vague.no and explain why you believe the decision should be changed. Because Vague.no is maintained by one person, an independent reviewer may not be available.
